Our Southern Birds lists twenty-six species of the Wood Warbler family (27 if you
include the Ovenbird). In this FSC she refers to ten:
1) Kentucky Warbler (Oporornis formosus)
2) Black-and-White Warbler (Mniotilta varia) (which Miles calls the Black-and-white Creeping Warbler)
3) Prairie Warbler (Dendroica discolor);
4) Yellow-rumped Warbler (Dendroica coronata) (which Miles refers to as the Myrtle Warbler)
5) Pine Warbler (Dendroica pinus)
6) Palm Warbler (Dendroica palmarum)
7) Magnolia Warbler (Dendroica magnolia)
8) Blackpoll Warbler (Dendroica striata) (which Miles calls the Blackjoll Warbler)
9) Blackburnian warbler (Dendroica fusca)
10) Hooded Warbler (Wilsonia citrina)
